This review is dedicated to the Second International Online Conference ‘Popularization of science among schoolchildren’, which centred on the theme of ‘Blogging as an effective tool for popularizing science’. The event was organized by active members of the Club of Chemistry Lovers, a professional online community.
The aim of the conference was to share the experience of using social media as an effective means to popularize science among schoolchildren. The reports were presented by well-known bloggers from Russia and Kazakhstan who are active members of the education community.
At the end of the conference, participants noted the importance of creating a stimulating digital learning environment with the help of blogs, since popular science blogs can prompt students to continue the study of the disciplines they are interested in.
